Project name: SMART REGUL(AI)TE - innovative platform for smart regulation

Modern public administrations increasingly use advanced technology to improve their legislative processes and effectively implement major reforms to improve legislation, especially in the domain of entrepreneurship. Digital technologies enable centralized management of regulatory reform projects, dislocated management of teams and online communication with the public and companies. However, there are very few solutions on the market that enable the digital transformation of only the legislative process. The company Best Advisory d.o.o. recognized the potential of such solutions and started developing SMART REGUL(AI)TE solutions. The solution enables the management of large volumes of legislative regulations and procedures, the creation and maintenance of databases, the vertical and horizontal connection of legislation, the integration of a number of tools for detection, measurement and reduction of the administrative burden according to the guidelines of the World Bank and the European Commission, management of teams and processes, and, extremely important, two-way interaction with the business community.

In addition to the functionalities described above, the Company's key competitive advantage will be the development of modules based on machine learning technology, whose main purpose and key added value is to assist reform experts in monitoring and detecting administrative obligations. Based on advanced NLP machine learning techniques, the module analyzes extensive legal texts by crawling, detects administrative obligations and extracts them in the form of structured text.

The development project of the described module is co-financed by EU funds. The specific goal of the project is the complete development of the IT solution SMART REGUL(AI)TE, an innovative software solution for the design and management of large projects of regulatory reform and simplification of the business environment at the local and national level. Project activities include upgrading the platform with a module for smart regulation, market research and validation, training for specific skills for start-up companies.
